What Does Coconut Oil Do in Soap?

آیا هرچه روغن نارگیل بیشتر باشد بهتر است؟

Coconut oil is one of the most useful oils in soapmaking because it can strongly influence lather, cleansing performance, and bar hardness.

Why Does Coconut Oil Create Good Lather?

Coconut oil contains significant amounts of fatty acids such as lauric acid.

After saponification, these fatty acids help create soap that lathers readily and has effective cleansing properties.

Its high proportion of saturated fatty acids also contributes to a firmer soap bar.

Is More Coconut Oil Always Better?

No.

Soap formulation is about balance. A formula designed only to maximize cleansing and foam may not create the most pleasant experience for every skin type.

That is why coconut oil is often combined with oils and fats that have different fatty acid profiles.

Coconut Oil in Nisha Soap

At Nisha, coconut oil is used alongside olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and other plant-based fats.

Its role is important, but it is only one part of the formula.

Our goal is not maximum foam. It is a balanced formula in which cleansing, structure, lather, and skin feel work together.
